Panasonic has launched a new 4G capable smartphone, the P77 in India as a Flipkart exclusive. The dual SIM P77 supports 4G/3G and 2G along with VoLTE.
Panasonic P77 comes with a 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz Quad-core processor, and features 1GB RAM along with 8GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD). The device is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
P77 features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, and has a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is backed by a 2000 mAh Lithium Polymer Battery.
The phone is available on discounted price starting December 8, 2016. Customers will also get an additional 10% discount on Axis Bank debit and credit cards. Panasonic P77 is available in grey and white colour variants on the website.
Customers can also exchange their old phone and receive up to a discount of Rs 4,500 which will run on BAU level.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said, “Our association with Flipkart has always helped us to reach out to our customers. P77 with 4G Technology available at Rs 5,299 is one of the year ender offers from Panasonic.”
P77 brings connectivity via Wi-Fi Hot Spot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth and Global Positioning System (A-GPS). It also supports FM and also comes with a protective screen guard as a free accessory.
The last phone introduced by Panasonic was the Eluga Mark 2 last month, which was launched in India at Rs 10,499. The 4G enabled phone comes with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass. The device is powered by 1.3 GHz octa core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). The Mark 2 sports a 13MP rear camera with 5P lens and a 5MP front camera.
