Panasonic Launches Android KitKat Phone Under Rs. 4,000

→ Panasonic seems all set to launch another entry-level Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone in India, dubbed the Panasonic T9, as it has been listed for purchase on an e-commerce site at Rs. 3,750 ahead of an official announcement.

As seen on the e-commerce site, the Panasonic T9 smartphone features dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support and runs Android4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

It sports a 3.5-inch HVGA (320x480 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash support and there is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.

The Panasonic T9 supports an additional expansion via microSD card (up to 32GB), apart from the 4GB of inbuilt storage.

Connectivity options on Panasonic T9 are listed to include 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. The smartphone packs a 1300mAh battery and is listedin a Black colour variant.

In October, Panasonic had launched the budget T40 smartpho nein India, priced at Rs. 5,990. The Panasonic T40 smartphone comes with dual-SIM support and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It bears a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA IPS display.The Panasonic T40is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.

The Panasonic T40 packs a 1500mAh removable battery.

Panasonic launched their ultra-
affordable smartphone in the T series
going by the name Panasonic T9 for
Rs 3750. The smartphone sports
a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels)
capacitive touch screen display. It is
powered with 1.3 GHz dual-core
processor paired with 512MB RAM.
There is no news about which chipset
has been used in this device.

In terms of camera, the T9 is
eqipped with 2MP rear camera with
LED flash and a 0.3MP front facing
camera for video calls. Apart from
the in-built 4GB storage, the
Panasonic T9 can be expanded up to
32GB via microSD card. The
smartphone runs on Android 4.4
KitKat OS.

The Panasonic T9 has a 1300 mAh
Battery. The Dual SIM smartphone
also features other
connectivity options such as 2G, Wi-
Fi and Bluetooth. The absence of 3G
in the T9 might disappoint some but
then at its price point one should not
be complaining.

The Panasonic T9 will be available in
white, black and blue colored
variants. It is available online on
various e-commerce portals.
Recently, Panasonic had launched
T41, P41 and P61 smartphones in
India starting at Rs 7,900.
