Pakistan tour of Zimbabwe confirmed

Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe will begin on August 23 and end on September 14. The tour will comprise of two T20Is, three ODIs and two Tests. The tour was initially scheduled for December 2012 but got postponed due to Pakistan's tour of India. All the matches will take place at Harare except the 2nd Test which will be held at Bulawayo.

Pakistan have announced the squads for the tour as well. Nasir Jamshed, Mohammad Irfan, Sarfraz Nawaz, Haris Sohail, Taufeeq Umar and Umar Gul, who were all part of the team for the Tests against South Africa earlier in the year, have been left out. Umar Gul is out due to an injury. Adnan Akmal has been picked to keep wickets. Wahab Riaz and Imran Farhat find their way back in.

Riaz, however, has been left out of squads for the limited over games. He's been replaced by Anwar Ali. Batsman Sohaib Maqsood has been added for the first time to the national squad.
