P Chidambaram was a picture of poise in the crowded court. Sporting a smile, Chidambaram greeted everyone present in the courtroom before acknowledging the judge with folded hands.
He appeared to be in some discomfort, he was constantly dabbing his sweating forehead with a handkerchief. A chair was arranged for him, The judge as well as CBI officials insisted Chidambaram to take a seat, but he politely declined. “No, quite happy to stand.”
After judgement P. Chidambaram left the courtroom just as he had entered it — with a smile.
