NEW DELHI: Chinese handset makerOppohas got into trouble in India for allegedly disrespecting the Indiannationalflag, BGR India reported. Some official of the company in the company’s Noida plant tore a picture of the national flag and threw it into a dustbin.The company is facing backlash and protests being held in front of its Noida office. Also, some users have taken the ‘anti-national’ debate to social media, slamming Oppo of its alleged actions.The report published comments from the company stated as,”We are investigating the situation and will share an update once we verify all the facts.”Some of the users are demandingstrict actions by the government against the Chinese company. Also, some Twitteratis are reaching out to newly appointed UP CM Yogi Adityanath to look into this matter.Some twitter users reported the scene, describing it as a ‘riot-like’situation.
