Update: OnePlus has launched the 10,000mAh Power Bank, and it has begun shipping in the US.

The company has also revealed that users in India won’t have to wait too long.

The company has released a statement saying, “As for our fans in Europe and India, you won’t have to wait long, either.


We are ironing out the logistics process for a smoother shipping experience.”

OnePlus is all set to launch its 10,000mAh Power Bank this week. The company had unveiled the Power Bank late last year.


A post on the company’s Google+ page along with
the image of the Power Bank states, “Starting March
17. Are you ready to charge??”


The Power Bank is priced at 15.99 euros that translates to roughly Rs 1,100.

It claims to provide three full charges for the OnePlus One and comes with two USB ports, allowing users to charge more
than one device at a time.

Featuring the lithium-polymer technology, OnePlus includes a multitude of safety features to prevent
overcharging and overheating.

The Power Bank comes dipped in Silk White and Sandstone Black, along with battery indicator LEDs and sans any
buttons.

However, there is no word on its availability for India as OnePlus or its India retail partner Amazon hasn’t
disclosed anything yet.

OnePlus Power Bank to Be Available in India, Europe Next Month

OnePlus has launched its much-
anticipated 10000mAh Power Bank,
which it has been teasing since last year
in the US, priced at $14.99 (roughly Rs.
950). The portable battery charger will
not be sold based on an invite system,
but from the company's site. The firm
also announced in a tweet the OnePlus
Power Bank will be available to order
India and Europe region in April.

According to OnePlus, fans in Europe an
India will not have to wait long to get th
OnePlus Power Bank. The firm is citing
issues due the special requirements whe
shipping 'pure batteries', or any battery
not connected to or inside another
product, that have caused logistics and
pricing issues. It says it is looking into
"alternative methods" that will bring
power banks to European fans without
greatly increasing the price that has
already been stated as EUR 15.99
(roughly Rs. 1,100).

The firm is also citing the different
battery certifications required for differen
markets as one of the reasons for delay
since the announcement last year. "It
was never our intention to advertise a
new product so far ahead of release.
Thank you for understanding, and we ar
extremely excited to announce this
incremental release of the OnePlus Power
Banks," the forum post added.

The OnePlus Power Bank is available in
Silk White and Sandstone Black variants,
just like the One smartphone itself. The
OnePlus Power Bank bears two USB port
for simultaneous charging, and takes
roughly 5.5 hours to charge itself. It has
dimensions 142.8x72.6x16.2mm, and
weighs 220 grams.

Until now, OnePlus has launched a total
