OnePlus 3T 128GB Gunmetal variant to go on sale on Feb 17 for Amazon Prime members

OnePlus has announced that the 128GB onboard storage and Gunmetal color variant of the OnePlus 3T smartphone will go on sale on Amazon India tomorrow. The sale will commence on Amazon India’s website starting at 10AM and will continue till 10PM tomorrow. Do note that the sale is only available for Amazon Prime members. The OnePlus 3T Gunmetal (128GB) is priced at Rs 34,999.

Non-Amazon Prime members will have to wait until February 25 when the company will be putting the same variant of the OnePlus 3T on sale. The smartphone will be available through open sale. That said, the OnePlus 3T Gunmetal (64GB) and soft gold (64GB) variants are available on Amazon India with a price tag of Rs 29,999.

Launched in December last year, the OnePlus 3T is an upgraded version of the OnePlus 3 smartphone and comes with minor improvements.

OnePlus 3T specifications

The OnePlus 3T flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It runs on Snapdragon 821 processor and is paired with 6GB of RAM.

In the photography department, the OnePlus 3T sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX 298 image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF support, and 4K video recording capabilities. Up front, the smartphone houses a 16-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording capabilities.

The OnePlus 3T also features a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button up front. The OnePlus 3T is powered with a 3,400mAh battery along with the company’s Dash Charge technology. For connectivity, the smartphone comes with options like dual-SIM support (nano slots), 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.

It is not worth going for 128 GB variant if you are a photo freak. I have never used 30 GB+ in a single mobile device.
