Mobile company OKWU on Thursday said that it will be launching its smartphones on November 15 at the Indian Habitat Centre. The OKWU phones will offer stock Android experience.
One of the key highlights of the smartphone is that it augments IoT technology in mobile phones.The device features apps that communicate with other devices, allowing users to control, monitor and track various appliances through the phone.
The 4G VoLTE enabled phones will be having HD display and will be priced starting Rs 6000.
“Through our IoT-enabled gadgets and devices, we strive to make a difference in the lives of 21st century habitants. He further added, “We believe in building a truly urbane brand, constantly working on pushing the limits of software technology that continues to defy boundaries of engineering to perfect the user experience,” said Anshuman Atul, CEO and Managing Director, OKWU.
OKWU is a stand-alone brand promoting the ‘Make in India’ initiative, the company said in a statement.
Revealing future plans, the company said that the smartphones will be manufactured and assembled in Shenzhen, China and the company plans to have their own assembly unit in India ahead.
