After BSNL, now Vodafone has rolled out plans for unlimited local calls to give a tough time to one of its biggest rivals Reliance Jio. The company is offering a new plan to its pre-paid subscribers where they can get the unlimited local calls and 3GB data after paying Rs 449. The plan doesn't seem to be available publicly but has been offered to select Vodafone consumers through an SMS.

According to a tweet by Sanjay Baffna, a telecom blogger, Vodafone is offering this plan for several days now. Since the company's official site does not have any related information about the plan, it probably means that the offer is available only for select users, probably based on their data consumption or number of calls per day.
The offer is available only till November 8, 2016 and users can avail the benefit within 4 hours of the recharge. Since the offer is available for select users, subscribers are advised to call the customer care and enquire about the eligibility before going for any recharges. Also the amount of recharge may vary circle to circle.
Earlier this year, Vodafone also launched a new offer under which any subscriber connecting with a 4G handset, which hasn't used a Vodafone connection in last six months, can avail the benefit of 10GB data at the cost of just 1GB for up to three months. This offer is for circles where Vodafone has its own 3G and 4G services. The offer is open for both prepaid and postpaid customers till December 31, 2016
