Reliance Jio has rolled out a new update for the JioCinema Movies TV Music app which would allow users to download content and watch it while they’re on the go. The update comes with a Smart Download option besides performance enhancement and bug fixes.
With the Smart Download option, users can schedule their downloads for Jio Happy Hours, i.e. between 2 AM to 5 AM where they won’t be charged for downloading the data. Therefore, even after reaching the maximum data usage limit, users can continue to download their favorite content.
The app has a video library which includes music videos ,movies, TV shows, movie trailers, and clips much more in multiple Indian languages.
As Jio claims, the app has over 1 lakh plus hours of content when put together.
Idea’s recently launched apps - Idea Music Lounge, Idea Movie Club, and Idea Game Spark are set to compete against Jio’s apps.
