Notion Ink launches 2-in-1 tablet Able 10 in India.
NEW DELHI: Notion Ink, the Indian tech company known for its Cain and Adam tablets, has launched its 2-in-1 tablet in India dubbed as Able 10. Priced at Rs 24,990, the hybrid tablet will be available exclusively on Snapdeal. The consumer version of the tablet comes with one-year warranty, while the company is offering a three-year warranty on the enterprise variant.
The Windows 10 running Notion Ink Able 10 tablet features a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280x800 resolution, and is powered by a quad-core Intel Cherry Trail processor clubbed with 4GB RAM. It houses 64GB of in-built storage and supports microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.
On camera front, Notion Ink Able 10 features 2MP OmniVision sensors on front and rear. It has USB 3.0 port, microUSB 2.0 port and micro-HDMI slot. 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.0 are available as the connectivity options.
Backed by an 8100mAh battery, the Notion Ink Able 10 weighs about 655 gram. The device, according to the company, delivers up to 7 hours of video playback and 6 hours of web browsing. Since it's a 2-in-1 tablet, it comes with a detachable keyboard that connects via POGO pin connectors. The keyboard also sports a trackpad with multi-touch support. Furthermore, the device comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office mobile suite.
The Able 10 definitely seems an upgrade over the Notion Ink's existing Cain 2-in-1 tablet, especially in terms of processor, RAM, storage and battery. Design-wise though, it looks almost the same as the Cain.
