At MWC2023 in Barcelona, Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, stopped by the Qualcomm booth to make a special announcement: the Nothing Phone (2) will be using the Snapdragon 8 Series as its smartphone processor.
Qualcomm CMO Don McGuire was present to facilitate the announcement and interview Carl Pei about Nothing, Nothing Phone (2), and how the Nothing company has grown. For those of you at MWC Barcelona, Carl Pei hinted that there are many different phone prototypes at the show (or at least in the area).
Don McGuire, being the ultimate Snapdragon Insider that he is, got a chance to see the new phones and he was impressed. Carl Pei also mentioned that one of the motivations for the Nothing Phone (2)’s processor choice was that Nothing phone fans demanded the premium performance provided by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. We’re thrilled that Nothing selected our flagship processor for their flagship product – and Carl teased that more products are just around the corner.
