There's lot of speculation on Nokia's Windows Phone 7-based smartphones. In fact, leaked specs sheet of two Nokia Windows Phone 7 based phones are doing rounds on the Web.
According to Mobile Review, Nokia is readying two Windows Phone 7 models dubbed Nokia W7 and W8. Nokia X7-inspired W7 will feature a WVGA display, Qualcomm QSD8250 chipset, Windows Phone 7 OS and an 8 megapixel camera. The handset is expected to hit the market by 2011 end.
Nokia W8, similar to the popular Nokia N8, will feature a dual core Qualcomm CPU and Adreno 320 GPU. It will sport a 12 megapixel shooter. W8 is expected to arrive in early 2012.
The leaked report also claims that Nokia has moved away from Microsoft's imposed Windows Phone 7 hardware requirements into a more flexible design process where it has more control over design, features and modification.
Besides, the two Windows Phone-based handsets, Nokia is also readying two new Symbian-based phones. The report claims that one phone, almost a look-alike of Nokia E6, will feature a touchscreen, QWERTY keypad and metal body.
The fourth one will be the cheaper version of W7 and will come with same hardware specs but with cheaper body material.
