Nokia is all set to unveil its new devices at an event today in Abu Dhabi. The company officially has not revealed what all it is going to showcase, but speculations are rife that Nokia will take the wraps off its eight new devices, including its first tablet and 6-inch phablet.
If rumours are to be believed, Nokia will unveil the 6-inch Lumia 1520, Windows-based Lumia 2520 tablet, low-cost Lumia 1320, three new Asha phones and some new accessories.
We have already seen these devices in leaked images, courtesy of the infamous tipster @evleaks.
Here is what all Nokia is expected to come up with today and what all these new devices are likely to feature:
Nokia Lumia 1520: It has been long rumoured that Nokia will debut its first-ever 6-inch phablet dubbed Lumia 1520. The rumoured Windows Phone 8 phablet is likely to come with a 6-inch 1080 p display, 2GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. Reportedly, the Lumia 1520 will be able to snap images at 5 megapixel and 16 megapixel resolution. The device will have a polycarbonate body, and is expected to be thin and lightweight.
Nokia Lumia 2520: Nokia's first Windows tablet is highly expected to debut on October 22. It has been leaked in an image much ahead of its offical launch. The Windows RT-based Lumia 2520 tablet is rumoured to have a 1080p display and come powered by a quad-core Qualcomm processor. It is speculated to include a 6.7-megapixel camera.
Nokia Lumia 1320: Hours before the launch, the Lumia 1320 emerged in a leaked image. Prolific tipster @evleaks released a leaked image - almost 12 hours before the launch - of what is claimed to be the Lumia 1320. It seems to come with a design similar to the Lumia 625. Rumours are doing the rounds that it will be an affordable Nokia smartphone. It is expected to come with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a front VGA camera. The Lumia 1320 is expected to come with a screen-size between 5 and 6 inches.
Asha 500, Asha 502, Asha 503: Reports are doing the rounds that Nokia will unveil three new Asha phones under its budget Asha series. We have seen all three devices in leaked images and the Asha 500 looks like Nokia Asha 501. The Nokia Asha 500 will be a dual-SIM offering.
Nokia Lumia 525: It is beleived to come as the successorto the Lumia 520. The smartphone is expected to come with some improved specifications.
Nokia Lumia 929: The company is rumoured to come up with a Lumia 929 handset for Verizon on October 22.
Travel Guru and other accessories: If the leaked images from @eveleaks are considered to be true, Nokia will introduce some new accessories inlcuding Nokia's new Bluetooth Treasure Tag accessory. Nokia is likely to unveil a new music-focused device, dubbed Travel Guru. @evleaks has also released an image of what is claimed to be the Nokia Travel Guru.
