Nokia X Android phone gets 1 million pre-orders in China

Nokia X Android phone has seen tremendous success in China much before its official release in the country.

Through its Weibo account, Nokia has revealed that Nokia X has already received 1 million pre-orders in China. The phone officially goes on sale in the country on March 25.

Unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 earlier in February, the Nokia X Android phone features a 4-inch touchscreen, dual core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, an internal memory of 4GB expandable to 32GB via microSD card and is a dual SIM handset.

The Nokia X family uses the open source version of Android, which runs most apps without the right to customise Google's basic software.

The look of the Nokia X devices is starkly different from the usual Android phone, with nods to Lumia and Asha interfaces.

It seems like Nokia is still a famous brand in China. interesting. I want Play Store on Nokia Android phones. It would be really nice if they soon release an update and make Play Store available.

But it's too late now as Nokia is in process of quiting it's mobile handset business.
