Nikon has launched their latest additions to the CoolPix range in India. The Company introduces Coolpix A camera, as part of the a new series in the CoolPix range and also several models in the new cameras the CoolPix P, S, L and AW series.
Coolpix A, features a DX format CMOS 16.2-megapixel crop sensor and comes with a wide-angle. Such a sensor has been used in Nikon's DSLR cameras. The camera also comes with a 18.5mm fixed focal lens with a f/2.8 aperture. Coolpix A is priced at Rs 54,950.
Nikon also introduces two new members to the Coolpix P series, including the P520 and P330. P520 features a 42X optical zoom Nikkor lens and comes with a 18.2 megapixel sensor(1000mm focal length). The P520 can be categorized as telephoto camera.
The CoolPix P330 comes with a 12.2-megapixel 1/1.7-inch sensor, which reduce noise in images.
All the cameras in the P series are priced between Rs 16,950 and Rs 24,950.
Moving on, Nikon brings forth, 9 new models in the CoolPix S-series, including the S9500, S9400, S6500, S5200, S4400, S3500, S3400, S2700, and the S31. These point and shoot cameras come with Wi-Fi connectivity, for sharing images on the net. The cameras in the CoolPix S-series are priced between Rs 5,950 and Rs 18,950.
The L-series of the Coolpix range also gets 4 new inclusions. Dubbed as L820, L320, L28 and the L27 theses are entry level cameras with ultra-high power optical zoom.
L820 comes with an optical zoom of 30x and has a 16-megapixel sensor.
L320 comes with an optical zoom of 26x and has a 16.1-megapixel sensor.
The L28 comes with an optical zoom of 5x and a 20-megapixel sensor
L27 comes with an optical zoom of 5x and has a 16.1-megapixel sensor
The cameras in the L-series are priced between Rs 4,990 and Rs 15,990.
The new Coolpix AW110, which is essentially an outdoor camera, is waterproof up to a depth of 18 meters. It also come with Wi-Fi support, a built-in GPS and a world map. The camera is priced at Rs 16,950.
