Now Sky Sport NZ has reclaimed the rights to screen international cricket matches played in New Zealand in a next six-year deal starting in late 2026.

Sky Sport New Zealand was the official broadcaster for New Zealand Cricket over the two decades till 2020.

♦️Contract :-

- Six-year deal with New Zealand Cricket will begin with the 2026/27 season and run until 2032 (April).

- All home Black Caps and White Ferns games included in the contract.

- Agreement does not include the Super Smash domestic Twenty20 cricket league.

Good to have Sky Sport NZ back. Although I loved Spark Sport/TVNZ production but their commentary team was bad. Finally we'll get to hear Simon Doull and Ian Smith back on NZ home matches

Spark sports was equally also good. Best pq with great graphics. But in the last cycle they share feed with tvnz as they had no channels

Picture Quality or Video Quality and Graphics are produced by production company which is tie-up with New Zealand cricket, Spark Sports is the mediator for showing the live feed to their audience through live television channels..
Just like Star Sports for BCCI in India...

In earlier stint with Sky Sports, they themselves produced all the matches for Cricket New Zealand.
