Recharge BSNL New Combo Plan STV189 for 2 times .
Then u get Rs 378 in main account and RS 62 talk value(dedicated account balance) and 2 GB 3G data.(validity 14days only).
Now u can activate BSNL STV 444 through sms or selfcare portal only by deducting Rs 377 from main account.
Now enjoy 4GB per day for 90 days.
But only disdvantage is 3G....However it is good for downloading big size videos for low rate....

Note: After completion/expiry of dedicated account balance, the customer can recharge any required voucher like BSNL combo 349, BSNL combo 395 or any other with this balance.

The sms trick is really old one!
already discussed many times... also, good that you found out, you'll start saving money here onwards..

TIP: You can save money on all plan activation (validity/ STV/ Data plans) when you do it the SMS way!

Also, if you can get FTT on recharges of Rs.300/500 etc, then it's kinda awesome as well...
 
I always recharge with full talktime topups and then active data stv through sms.
