New NASA Technology Could Put Humans on Mars​

In order for NASA to send the first humans to Mars, it has to make sure that all the technologies in their arsenal are functioning as planned. While it is not possible to test these technologies on the planet itself, NASA sent a test vehicle into space just above the Earth's atmosphere to mimic the atmosphere found upon Mars.

The mission was a resounding success, and all the objectives were achieved. The vehicle flew at speeds of up to four times the speed of sound during the journey.
