MUMBAI: The Indian unit of Netflix, the world’s largest online video streaming company, became profitable in its first year of operations, making out a net profit of Rs 20.2 lakh for 2017-18. Omg it 's unexpected first major online vedio platform that ' s running in profit in india ...where as other major platform hotstar , amazon prime vedio and zee 5 is in major loss...but i still believe netlflix is big flop in india as they only made little profit that too because they mainly produced only one major series that is sacred games others are mini series or movies...so they cant produce big budget series from that subscriber base
