Sad News National payments corporation recommends PPI charges for merchant transactions via UPI

Its actually good for us.These charges can be used for building a robust infrastructure for the UPI which results in reduction of failure rate and other transaction failures.Its a win- win situation for both the customers as well as the banks.

Only a small percentage of people like us will think like that.
Majority of the people will move back to cash/cards, etc even if it's just ₹1.

Clickbait websites and Youtube videos created an unwanted new sense by spreading fake news. Many are using bank-to-bank transfers only and wallets are already charging for loading them with CC so people avoid that option. This will impact only very few people and they will use bank-to-bank instead of wallet-to-bank mode.
 
This for people who have lots of money in their e-wallets but no option to pay anywhere other than one or two platforms. This will be welcomed by them.
