<p>Nandroid backup : It is must before you start playing with your android system. It will give you simple way to go back to your original stock rom, if required.</p>
<p>How to :</p>
<ol style="line-height: 150%; text-indent: 0">
<li>Download ClockWorkMod revovery from clockworkmod.com website. It will be a zip file (eg. <b>CWM.zip</b>), put it on sdcard of your android mobile.</li>
<li>Power off your mobile.</li>
<li>Now press & hold volume-up key , menu key & then power-on key. Hold all keys together for few seconds. When Samsung logo comes release all keys. Now you will be on recovery mode.</li>
<li>Go to <b>install zip file</b> & select <b>CWM.zip</b> file using
volume-down key. This will take you to ClockWorkMod recovery page.</li>
<li>Now go to backup & restore using volume-down key.</li>
<li>Then select backup, it will take some time to take complete backup of your device. Remember you must have around sufficient free space on your sdcard ( around 1Gb or so).</li>
<li>Similarly you can restore back your system using similar procedure.</li>
<li>Your backup will be copied into sdcard ->clockworkmod->backup->backup_folder_with_datestamp</li>
<li>Do remember to copy this entire backup folder to your PC before doing any custom ROM installation.</li>
