Nana Patekar Feels That Rajinikanth Is Not The Biggest Superstar And Here's Why!

The entire nation might be going gaga over Rajinikanth and his latest film Kabali. His fan frenzy may have crossed all limits, and his movie may have broken a ton of records, but there's one person out there who thinks Rajinikanth is not the biggest superstar. And before you turn red with rage, just hear him out! Nana Patekar feels that Rajinikanth is not the biggest superstar around and he explains his stance pretty well. Nana feels that more than the actor, it's the film which is always a bigger superstar.

"Film is the biggest superstar. If your story is good and executed well then, even if actors are new, the film will do well. As far as stars are concerned, the film will run for two or three days but later on if the film is not good enough, it will not run irrespective of who the star of the film is,” said Nana.

A good film can make an actor a star and a superstar is what Nana feels. He added, "Writers are given more importance today. Salim-Javed gave writers a good status in our industry. A film is only as good as its story. If the story is not good, the film will not be good as well. The story should good look on paper. If the story is not good, no big star can save it. It will run only for one or two days. That’s it. A star can bring the audience to theatres only for two days but not more.”
Well, he could be right to a great extent, considering Kabali got mixed reviews from critics owing to a weak script.
