MTNL broadband customers to get entertainment content from Hungama

State-run telco MTNL has joined hands with Hungama to provide on-demand digital entertainment content to its broadband consumers in Mumbai and Delhi.

"Our partnership with Hungama reiterates our commitment to offer value to our customers from time to time. With this association with Hungama we bring to them the best of entertainment that can be consumed seamlessly at high broadband speeds," P.K. Purwar, CMD, MTNL, said in a joint statement.

Hungama alreayd enjoys similar partnerships in India with BSNL, ACT Fibernet, Hathway, Videocon, Tata Photon and in Sri Lanka with Sri Lanka Telecom.

The service is available to MTNL broadband users at mtnl.hungama.com and as part of this service users can access the latest music, movies, videos and games while availing various entertainment packages.

"The association with MTNL is a crucial step in strengthening our distribution across platforms. With this, we now share our services with two of the country's leading telecom and broadband majors - MTNL and BSNL and are confident of consolidating our presence across other broadband services as well," Siddhartha Roy, CEO - Hungama.com said in a joint statement.

"We look forward to sharing the Hungama experience with over 1 million MTNL subscribers and offering them premium entertainment at their convenience," Roy added.

Hungama's diverse library of over 3.5 million content pieces includes some of the biggest Bollywood, Hollywood and Regional films.
