New Delhi: The much-awaited Moto X
(2nd generation) smartphone, which
was unveiled early this month, has
now got a price tag. Motorola has
priced the new Moto X at Rs 31,999
in India. The smartphone will go on
sale on Flipkart.com starting from
midnight of September 24.
At Rs 31,999, the new Moto X is Rs
8,000 dearer than the first-gen Moto
X that was launched in India at Rs
23,999 onwards.
Motorola says the base variant of the
Moto X will be available for Rs
31,999, while the wood finish and the
leather back panel variants are priced
at Rs 33,999.
The 2nd generation Moto X features a
5.2-inch 1080p display and a curved
back encased in a metal frame. The
specifications of the new Moto X
include a 2.5GHz quad-core
processor, 2GB RAM and water-
resistant coating. Moto Voice in the
Moto X accepts new voice commands
and lets users control their favourite
apps with voice commands.
The phone has a 13 megapixel rear
camera with dual LED ring flash and
a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat
and its 2400mAh battery is claimed
to offer up to 24 hours of usage.
