Last month we reported that Motorola was planning on launching the Moto X Play and Moto X Style in India this month. While the company has yet to announce an official date, it has put up a teaser on Twitter hinting at an imminent launch.
As you can see in the above tweet, Motorola all but confirms that it will soon be launching the Moto X Play in India. In addition to saying that the launch is “just around the corner,” it also highlights the smartphone’s battery capacity with the caption — ‘No more getting dumped by your phone. Your perfect partner is coming with 30 hours of battery backup. #XOMotoX’
This is a not-so-subtle hint at the Moto X Play’s massive 3,630mAh battery. The smartphone also features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB/32GB internal storage with microSD card slot. Also featured are 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-CCT flash, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
