Motorola India has rolled out the Android 4.0 update for its flagship RAZR Maxx and RAZR smartphones in India. The two phones are being upgraded to Android Ice Cream Sandwich via a 200-240MB over-the-air release, the company said in a statement on its website.
The new ICS-laden Motorola RAZR Maxx and RAZR will have an updated look and feel to the user interface and feature an enhanced voice recognition system. The company has said that the upgrade would also include homescreen customisation and navigation changes as well as modifications in the social networking integration in the two devices. With the operating system upgrade, Motorola is also providing nine EA games for free to the users.
According to the company, those who upgrade their devices to Ice Cream Sandwich will not be able to go back to Gingerbread, the previous version of Android.
The Android 4.0 release schedule for other Motorola's Android smartphones is yet to be announced.
