Motorola launched the Moto X Force in India back in February this year, with prices starting from Rs 49,999 for the 32GB variant. If the price tag put you off earlier, now would be a good time to buy the smartphone as Flipkart is offering massive discounts on both the variants. These discounts are only applicable on Flipkart, and the Moto X Force is available at its usual price on other e-commerce sites.

Flipkart is offering a flat discount of Rs 15,000 on the Moto X Force 32GB variant, which brings the price down to Rs 34,999. As for the 64GB variant, Flipkart is offering a discount of Rs 16,000, which brings the price down from Rs 53,999 to Rs 37,999.

This is a much more competitive price tag (albeit temporary), and at this price point the smartphone will prove to be a better value for money proposition. The discounts will also help the Moto X Force better compete against the likes of the Google Nexus 6P . The Huawei-built Nexus smartphone is currently available online for Rs 36,499 (32GB) and Rs 39,601 (64GB).

The talking point of the Moto X Force is its shatterproof display and the overall sturdiness. The smartphone comes with ‘ShatterShield technology’, which includes multiple layers of material integrated into the device that helps in absorbing the shock and prevents the screen from cracking.

These layers include proprietary hard coat for exterior protection, a shield for protecting the interior lens, dual touch layer for safeguarding touch-sensitivity and touchscreen, and an aluminum chassis. Motorola says that the screen won’t crack or shatter for up to four years.

Motorola Moto X Force specifications, features:

The smartphone features a 5.4-inch QHD AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, and a microSD card slot to expand internal memory up to 2TB.
The Moto X Force also features a 21-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with front-facing flash, and a 3,760mAh battery that supports TurboPower fast charging and wireless charging. There is also a nano-coating to keep the device safe from the accidental splash of water. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz+5GHz) with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, A-GPS and NFC.
