New Delhi: Similar to its other products, Motorola's upcoming Moto 360 2 has also been marred by premature image leaks that point to the smartwatch having a metal design.
The leaked image has popped up on Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, and show the Moto 360 2- the successor of the Moto 360- having a round design with thin bezels.
The earlier Moto 360 was considered one of the highest quality smartwatches in the world along with the LG Watch. With the upcoming Moto 360 2, the expectation level has gone up and whether the leaked images prove true to the original release could only be established when the watch is unveiled in autumn this year, Android Origin reports.
Based on the leaked images, there is a possibility that Motorola might be using a metal design instead of plastic for the next Moto 360 2. It is also speculated that the smartwatch will have a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels.
Although the predecessor Moto 360 is a stylish watch given the wide user customization options the company provided, the watch wasn't very durable as its back was prone to breakage. It is hoped that with the metal design this issue will be solved in the upcoming Moto 360 2.
