As opposed to popular rumours that Motorola will announce two smartphones and a smartwatch, Motorola has unveiled only one smartphone, the third-gen Moto G, at an event today in India.

The third-gen Moto G smartphone has been priced at Rs 11,999 and will be available exclusively on Flipkart. It actually comes in two variants - 8GB storage with 1GB RAM at Rs 11,999 and 16GB storage with 2GB RAM at Rs 12,999. The phone will go on sale from midnight today on Flipkart.

It boasts of a 5-inch HD scratch-resistant display with 294ppi that spans edge to edge. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to protect your display from scratches. Under its hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 1.4 GHz quad-core CPU.

The 4G LTE Moto G smartphone is powered by Android Lollipop 5.1 and features a 13 megapixel rear camera with new Correlated Colour Temperature (CCT) dual LED flash, which Motorola says, automatically adjusts to ensure you get natural looking skin tones and consistent vibrant colours. It is combined with a 5 megapixel front snapper that offers wide 72 degree field of view.
