NEW DELHI: Motorola has launched the Moto G Turbo Edition smartphone in India at Rs 14,499. The phone is exclusively available on Flipkart starting today from 12pm onwards. Motorola has special offers for those who buy the phone before December 13.
The offers include 100% cashback to 100 lucky customers; consumers can also exchange their old smartphones for up to Rs 6,000; and those who use Airtel can double their mobile data for free with Moto G Turbo Edtion.
The new Motorola smartphone has a 5-inch screen as the standard variant with Full HD resolution of (1080x1920p).
The smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset, which replaces the quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor of the earlier version. The 2,470mAh battery now supports Motorola's Turbo Power technology for fast-charging.
Other than these upgrades, the new Moto G Turbo Edition remains the same as the standard version of Moto G (Gen 3).
The two share features like Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) operating system, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card support, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. The dual-sim smartphone is also water-resistant (IP67 rating).
The smartphone is available in two variants -- Black with DeepSea Blue back and White with Slate back.
