Motorola today introduced a week-long bundle of offers with Flipkart to celebrate the anniversary of its one-year partnership in India. The offers are valid for the Moto E, Moto G, Moto X, Nexus 6 and Moto 360. However, the offer is available only for a week from the 9th to 15th February.

"An exchange offer of up to Rs 4,000 is applicable on purchase of the Moto G (2nd Gen) while on the purchase of the Moto X (2nd Gen), customers can avail an exchange offer of up to Rs 6,000 and get the Moto Deck Bluetooth speaker worth Rs 8,990 absolutely free,” said Motorola in a press release.

"Moto E will also be available at a discounted price of Rs 5,999 starting today. The Nexus 6 will be available with an exchange offer of Rs 10,000. Furthermore buying Moto 360 along with Nexus 6 can get customers an extra Rs 10,000 off,” Motorola further added.

The flagship, Motorola Moto X (2nd Gen) has a single nano SIM card slot, 13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, 5.2 inch full HD display, Android Lollipop operating system, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 CPU, WiFi, and 3G.

Moto G (2nd Gen) offers dual SIM, 5 inch IPS LCD display with high definition resolution, 16 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM, 32 GB micro SD card slot, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, and has recently received Android 5.0 update as well. Besides, it comes with 2070 mAh battery, 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera, FM radio, 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0.

The cheapest handset of Motorola in India is the Moto E which offers 4.3 inch qHD display, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 dual core processor, 1 GB RAM, 32 GB micro SD card slot, 4 GB internal storage, dual SIM, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1980 mAh battery but has no front camera.

Motorola India has announced a bevy of
offers on Moto devices in India on
completing a year in the Indian market
(since the launch of the first-generation
Moto G ) with its exclusive online partner,
Flipkart. The new offers are valid on the
purchase of the Moto E, Moto G (Gen 2) ,
Moto X (Gen 2) , Google Nexus 6 and
Moto 360 via Flipkart from February 9 to
15.

To start off, the company has temporaril
reduced the price of the popular budget
Moto E smartphone in India, which is
currently available at Rs. 5,999, down
from the original price of Rs. 6,999 - a
discount of Rs. 1,000.

The company has also brought back the
'exchange your old phone' offer under
which customers can get up to Rs. 4,00
and up to Rs. 6,000 discounts on the
purchase of the Moto G (Gen 2) and
Moto X (Gen 2) smartphones
respectively, in exchange for select
phones. Notably, Motorola India had
launched similar exchange offers for bot
the second-generation Moto G and Mot
X smartphones last month.

Motorola India is also offering the Moto
Deck Bluetooth speaker worth Rs. 8,990
for free with every purchase of the Moto
X (Gen 2). The Google Nexus 10 is also
currently available with an exchange off
of up to Rs. 10,000. Consumers who buy
the Moto 360 along with the Nexus 6 wil
get an additional discount of Rs. 10,000
on the total cost.

In other news, Motorola has started the
soak test for the Moto E Android 5.0
Lollipop update in India. A recent post o
the unofficial Motorola India Fans
Facebook page tipped that the company
started the soak test with limited users.

The timing of the discounted pricing of
the Moto E does not appear to be
coincidental, with the successor to the
popular budget smartphone expected
soon - the original smartphone was
launched back in May last year. A recent
report speculated that the Motorola Mot
E (Gen 2) might be announced at the
sidelines of MWC in Barcelona next
month. So far, there has been no
announcement from the company.

Motorola Moto E price dropped to Rs 5,999 on Flipkart

Motorola and Flipkart have quietly given the uber-affordable Moto E a price cut of Rs 1,000. On Flipkart, it is now available to buy for Rs 5,999.

Recently, Motorola had also announced Android 5.0 Lollipop soak testfor the Moto E in India. Motorola has already released Android 5.0 Lollipop update for both generations of Moto G and Moto X in India, and now plans to extend the latest Android iteration to its uber-cheap Moto E, if the soak tests proceed without any issues.

In the budget segment, Moto E, has been doing very well, and compelled its rivals to come up with devices in the sub-7k price range. In fact, in the past 10 months, the company has disclosedto have sold 24,00,000 units of Moto E and Moto G, and 6,00,000 units of Moto X.
