Couple of bad design decisions by Moto.

1. Back fingerprint
2. Hybrid slot

I hope they'll not follow it for other phones.

Hybrid Slot is definitely a bad decision... Some people prefer fingerprint sensor at back.... It could have been a good device with qualcomm processor. AMOLED display is a welcoming move

I wonder why lenovo bought Motorola if they wanted to change all its design an name ??
They could have started new brand instead ruining Motorola :angry :angry

People who like back fingerprint should try unlocking the phone while it's on a table.

Apart from good specs, this time Moto has changed from their boring old design to new fresh look. Wt is the display AMOLED?

Moto M expected to arrive in India in early December

The Moto M became a reality soon after a bunch of leaks spread online. The company officially announced the smartphone earlier this month in China and now the new smartphone is heading to India. The confirmation comes from Moto India’s Twitter account as it has started buzzing about an upcoming metal smartphone launch.

The Moto M marks the addition of a new Moto smartphone series and is the first metal unibody offering from the company ever since it returned to the handset market. While there isn’t anything else that seems to make the smartphone interesting, the company did focus on its 8MP front camera during its announcement. It is a mid-range smartphone sporting a 5.5-inch AMLOED display with full HD (1920×1080) resolution. Inside there is a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor with an Adreno 405 GPU.

A phone that is Majestically metal, a phone that reflects who you are. #MotoM Coming soon.

On the camera front, a 16MP rear snapper comes fitted along with a dual LED flash. There are two variants of the device – 32GB of storage with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant with 4GB of RAM. Both will offer a microSD expansion slot.

It also comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back, again a first for a Moto device. The smartphone looks shiny with its gold finish and definitely feels like a premium device. While early rumours had suggested that the smartphone will come with a chunky 5,100mAh battery, the actual size of the battery is 3,050mAh. Other features include Android 6.0, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, USB Type-C and Dolby Atmos sound courtesy Lenovo.

The company is expected to announce the smartphone in the first half of December.
