It’s been three years since Motorola made a comeback in India. Celebrating this milestone, the Lenovo-owned company is offering a bunch of deals across its range for buyers on Flipkart. These offers include discounts, cashback and exchange bonus. The offers are valid between February 20 and 21.
During the two-day celebrations, buyers opting for a Moto product on Flipkart will be entitled to exchange offers up to Rs 20,000, and 10 percent discount for IndusInd Bank credit card users. These offers are valid on smartphones like the Moto Z, Moto Z Play, Moto M, Moto G Turbo Edition, Moto E Power, Moto E, and Moto G (2nd Generation).
Moto Z, Moto Z Play: The Moto Z is currently listed on Flipkart with a price tag of Rs 39,999. Buyers will be able to take advantage of up to Rs 20,000 exchange bonus that can potentially bring the retail price down to Rs 19,999. The Moto Z Play, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 24,999 and with the exchange bonus, the retail price can potentially fall to Rs 4,999. Interestingly, at the time of filing this story, these offers are already applicable on the Moto Z and Moto Z Play .
Moto M: Prices for the Moto M start from Rs 15,999 for the 32GB variant, and goes up to Rs 17,999 for the 64GB variant. Buyers stand a chance to exchange their old smartphone and get up to Rs 15,000 discount. This can potentially bring the retail price of the 32GB variant to Rs 999 and the 64GB variant to Rs 2,999.
Moto G Turbo Edition: The Moto G Turbo Edition gets a Rs 1,000 flat discount that brings the retail price down from Rs 9,999 to Rs 8,999.
Moto G: Motorola is similarly offering discounts on the second and third generation of the Moto G smartphones. The Moto G (2nd Gen) will be available for Rs 6,999 for the 16GB variant, while the Moto G (3rd Gen) 8GB variant will be available for Rs 7,999.
Nexus 6: The Motorola-made Nexus 6 is being offered with a flat discount. The 32GB variant will be available for Rs 19,999, while the 64GB variant will be available for Rs 25,999.
Moto E: The Moto E Power gets a Rs 500 off, which brings the retail price down to Rs 7,499. Prices for the second-generation Moto E too have been slashed. The Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G variant will be available for Rs 4,999, while the 4G variant will be available for Rs 5,999.
Despite so many options, if you look closely, the offers aren’t really enticing enough. Most of the smartphones listed above are quite dated now, and are barely able to compete against the growing competition in their respective segments. The only smartphones worth considering are the Moto Z and Moto Z Play, but the offers aren’t really new. In fact, you can take advantage of the mentioned deals right now if you were to head over to Flipkart .
