Motorola, which recently launched Moto 360 (2015) smartwatch in India, has now announced Moto 360 Sport at Rs 19,999. The smartwatch is available in black colour variant, exclusively on Flipkart.
Moto 360 Sport is equipped with a built-in GPS, optical heart-rate monitor and music player. It is built of silicone and comes with side ventilation channels. It runs Android and is compatible with most fitness apps like MapMyRun, Under Armour Record, Strava, Google Fit and Fitbit. The Moto Body feature records users data and syncs it to the apps.
Moto 360 Sport features a 35 mm Any Light Hybrid display, with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. The smartwatch comes with Always On display. It is IP67 certified, which means that Moto 360 Sport is dust and water resistant.
Also, users sync playlists and podcasts from Google Play Music to listen to them using a bluetooth earphone. Moto 360 Sport records and shows a detailed summary of a user’s weekly workout and progress. It sports dual digital mics.
Moto 360 Sport is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. It packs a 300 mAh battery and supports wireless charging.
On the connectivity front, Moto 360 Sport supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, Barometric Altimeter, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Vibration/Haptics engine and heart rate sensors.
