If I buy a monitor with HDMI input and built-in speakers and connect a dth with HDMI port so I can view all channels without any problem?
Now a days most of the tv has 1 year warranty. But where as most of the monitor of high resolution have 3 years warranty.
I think HD channels will work fine. But what will happen to sd channels?
Some monitor have upscaling feature of 4:3 videos. But what is that?
Is the sd channels can be viewed in 16:9 format like 9xm or Rajjya Sabha TV?
Please post your opinion and experience bro?

Bro i have bought my montior on 2010 year:shy, but my montior discontinue on online but still offline shop selling this product,if u want online means choose the new model:tup

On that year i have paid Rs.30,000 for 22inch lcd monitor, cpu with all accesories & rdtv dth & reliance data card:k

Sd channels working in 16:9 only but picture quality depend on tv operator & dth only:k

Bro change the aspect ratio setting also available in lg & samsung for ex aspect ratio setting menu:4:3,16:9,just scan,if u press the ok button on remote means it's will automatically adjust aspect ratio:k ,for other brand i don't know bro:k

Vicky bro you have enriched me with your experience. According to you sd channels of dth can be viewed in 16:9 format automatically. So all the 4:3 channels are not stretched to 2 sides to fill the whole screen like tv.
So why we fool guys buy a tv? I will Go for monitor.
