Mohammad Ashraful, the Bangladesh batsman, has been banned for eight years (three years suspended) by the disciplinary tribunal for his involvement in fixing in the 2013 season of the Bangladesh Premier League.

Dhaka Gladiators owner, Shihab Jishan Chowdury, was banned for 10 years (three years suspended) for fixing, while former New Zealand batsman Lou Vincent was handed a three-year ban for failure to report an approach and Sri Lanka batsman Kaushal Lokuarachchi was banned for 18 months for the same offence.

If cheating is a criminal then why these cricketers/sportsmen aren't prosecuted under criminal law as they have cheated millions of cricket/sports lovers. They should have been jailed for 12 years. :angry
