Micromax Canvas Spark 3 with a 5.5-inch HD display has been launched for Rs 4,999 exclusively on Snapdeal.

Micromax Canvas Spark 3 with a 5.5-inch HD display is the new entry level, online only smartphone from the Indian manufacturer. Registrations for the new Micromax Canvas Spark 3 will open on Snapdeal from April 1, and the flash sale starts on April 7 at 12 noon. The Canvas Spark 3 will cost Rs 4,999.

Micromax claims that the Canvas Spark series has sold than more than 1 million units within six months of its launch.

Canvas Spark 3 features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1.3 Ghz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8 GB ROM, 2500 mAh battery, runs Android Lollipop and has an eight megapixel rear camera with a five megapixel front camera. Canvas Spark 3 also has a 2509 speaker with a 1.5 CC box.

The phone comes pre-loaded with 10 regional languages. The smartphone comes in black and champagne gold colour.

Micromax Informatics Wednesday launched the Canvas Spark 3 smartphone which will be exclusively sold via a flash sale on April 7 at noon on Snapdeal at a price of Rs 4,999. 

With the launch of Canvas Spark 3, Micromax is looking at offering consumers an entertainment experience, the domestic device maker in a statement said. 

The device features 1.3Ghz quad-core processor and is based on Android Lollipop and comes fully loaded with 5.5-inch HD screen with 8 megapixel auto-focus camera.

The company said that it had created a favorable impact in the e-commerce channel capturing more than 11% of the exclusive online market in 2015. 

"Even though smartphone market is growing fast, it still stands around 17% of the overall mobile phone market presenting a huge opportunity to upgrade as well as expand the overall market," Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics said. 

"We will continue to disrupt the market with similar innovations in the near future to keep raising the benchmark for technological innovations that directly address the ever evolving consumer needs," Sen added.
