Micromax has unveiled a new voice-calling tablet in India, the Canvas Tab P681. Additionally, the budget Bolt Q326 Plus smartphone has gone on sale via a third-party online retailer. The new Micromax Canvas Tab P681 tablet is now available exclusively via Flipkart at Rs. 7,499.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P681 tablet features an 8-inch (1280x800 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset comes with 16GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with dual-SIM card slots and supports voice-calling. It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also packs a 2-megapixel front camera.
Micromax is promoting the Canvas Tab P681 tablet as all-in-one entertainment device, and highlighting the DTS dual box speakers on board. Connectivity options on the tablet include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery.
Commenting on the launch, Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax Informatics said, "We at Micromax have established ourselves as leaders in the tablet segment with our continued innovation to best fit users' requirements. Coming to the Bolt Q326 Plus, the smartphone is available to buy via ShopClues and was first reported by Phoneradar. It is not yet listed on the company's site, and no announcement has yet been made as to its official availability.
