Micromax seems to be gearing up to
launch a new Canvas-series smartphon
the Canvas Hue 2. The smartphone is
now available to buy via an e-commerc
website at Rs. 11,736. Notably, there h
been no announcement from Micromax
on the launch Canvas Hue 2.
A Mumbai-based retailer has also
claimed that the Micromax Canvas Hue
has been launched in physical retail
stores. According to the retailer, the
Canvas Hue 2 has been priced at Rs.
12,499 (MOP), while the MRP of the
handset is Rs. 17,999.
The dual-SIM Canvas Hue 2 (A316) ru
the recent Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-
the-box. It comes with a 5-inch HD
(720x1280 pixels) Amoled display. The
smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz
quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) process
coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Mumbai-
based retailer however claims that the
smartphone is backed by an octa-core
processor clocked at 1.7GHz.
It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage,
which is further expandable via microS
card (up to 32GB).
The Canvas Hue 2 sports a 13-megapix

a secondary 5-megapixel front-facing
