French tyre major Michelin has tied up with online marketplace Snapdeal to sell its products through the e-commerce platform. “Snapdeal with its large subscriber base and pan India reach has been an obvious choice. We believe this new channel will augment our existing distribution and enable our dealers with a parallel sales pipeline,” Michelin India Commercial Director Mohan Kumar said in a statement.

This partnership not only connects consumers to all of Michelin’s dealerships spread across the country, but the French company also promises exclusive discounts for online buyer.
Buyers can head over to Snapdeal to select their desired Michelin tyre, and place and order. The next step is to locate the nearest authorized dealer and book a fitment order online. The buyer has the option of same day free fitment, as well as access to exclusive offers on services like alignment and balancing. The company has also stated that all passenger car tyres sold through Michelin authorized dealers on Snapdeal are guaranteed by the French company.

Snapdeal Vice President, (Omni Channel) Badal Malick said, “Our recently launched omni channel platform Janus will deliver the convenience of online product discovery and offline installation services at the nearest location.”
