The cloud storage service started up by Kim Dotcom in January 2013 with much pomp and circumstance now has its first Android app. A version for iOS and another one for Windows 8 are due out before the end of the year.
The application has a search function with which to navigate through your account and allows you to import, download, upload or delete files of any kind. One function also enables automatic syncing of photos and videos taken using the smartphone on your Mega account. Needless to say, the mobile app allows you to create links to access and share your files.
With a wink at the US, Kim Dotcom's sworn enemy since its Megaupload got shut down in 2012, the app was put online on the country's Independence Day holiday.
