SRINAGAR: Three soldiers and a
militant were killed on Monday as
troops foiled an infiltration bid
along the LoC in Tangdhar sector of
Kashmir, the Army said.
An Army patrol noticed suspicious
movement close to the LoC in
Tangdhar and challenged the group
of militants, an Army official said.
He said a heavy exchange of fire
ensued between the two sides and
the infiltrators were forced to retreat
back across the LoC.
