LG, shortly after announcing the start of
the global rollout of its latest flagship
smartphone, the LG G4, has now made
the dual-SIM variant of the smartphone
available in select countries. The LG G4
is available in two dual-SIM variants -
LG G4 Dual SIM with model number
H818P, and LG G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE)
with model name H818N - which have
been listed in on the company sites for
Hong Kong, Thailand, Ukraine, and Sau
Arabia. The rollout details of the dual-
SIM variants in other countries still
remains a mystery.
According to user reports (via GSMArena
the Dual LTE variant (support for 4G LT
in both SIM card slots) is being sold at
HKD 5,700 (roughly Rs. 46,800) in Hong
Kong, while the regular Dual SIM version
is being sold in Saudi Arabia at SAR
2,500 (roughly Rs. 42,400), and in
Thailand at THB 21,900 (roughly Rs.
41,700). The regular Dual SIM variant is
also listed in Ukraine, but so far no
pricing details have merged.
The specifications of the LG G4 Dual SI
and LG G4 Dual SIM (Dual LTE) appear
to be identical to the original LG G4,
excepting the addition of an extra SIM
card slot. For reference, the LG G4 come
with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440x2560)
IPS Quantum display with 538 PPI. It is
powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon
808 processor SoC with a 1.8GHz 64-bit
Hexa-Core CPU alongside 3GB RAM and
32GB internal storage, that is expandabl
up to 2TB via microSD card. LG G4
comes with 3000mAh removable battery.
It comes with f/1.8 16-megapixel and
f/2.0 8-megapixel rear and front
cameras respectively.
The LG G4 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out
of the box with LG's new UX 4.0 on top.
Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides apps
come pre-installed on the phone, while
G4 owners will receive an additional
100GB of Google Drive storage free for
two years. The firm also launched the
two variants of the flagship - LG G4c
and LG G4 Stylus this month.
