As promised earlier, LG has launched the mid-range G3 Beat – a pared-down version of its flagship G3 smartphone to the Indian market. Priced at Rs
25,000, the G3 Beat will be available in metallic black, shine gold and silk black colours.

With the G3 Beat, LG has opted for a 5-inch HD 720p IPS display featuring a screen-to-body ratio of 74.1 percent, which LG claims is the best in its class.

It runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat
operating system and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm
Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled
with 1GB of RAM. All of this is fuelled by a 2,540mAh battery. It has 8GB of on-board storage which is expandable with a microSD card.

The Floating Arc Design promises
curved sides and gradually tapered
edges for a good grip and feel. It
measures 137.7 x 69.6 x 10.3mm, and weighs 134 grams.

Connectivity options include 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
4.0, A-GPS/GLONASS and NFC.
It comes with an 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera. Some of its key highlights include Touch and Shoot,

Smart Keyboard, QuickMemo+ and
Gesture Shot. The device comes dipped in Metallic black, Silk white and Shine gold options.
