LG, less than a week ahead of the G4
flagship launch, has unveiled a new mid
range smartphone named G Stylo. The
handset will first hit the shelves in its
home turf South Korea followed by other
regions worldwide starting from May 5.
LG has set a price tag of KRW 400,000
(roughly Rs. 23,200) for the G Stylo.

The highlight of the Android 5.0 Lollipop
based LG G Stylo is its support for up to
2TB microSD cards. However, it is worth
noting that as of now there is no microS
card available in the market with a 2TB
capacity.

The G Stylo features a 5.7-inch HD
(720x1280 pixels) resolution IPS display
with a pixel density of 256ppi. Since
working on a near 6-inch display can be
difficult for some users, LG has also
included a stylus. The handset is
powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core
Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor
coupled with 1.5GB of RAM.

An 8-megapixel rear camera with LED
flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing
camera also come housed inside the LG
G Stylo. The smartphone additionally
comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage. It
offers connectivity options like 4G LTE,
Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and USB
2.0.

Measuring 154.3x79.2x9.6mm the LG G
Stylo weighs 163 grams and is backed
by a replaceable 3000mAh battery. As
compared to the LG G3 Stylus, which
was launched in October last year in
India, the G Stylo leads in almost all the
sections. However, the G3 Stylus has a
higher resolution 13-megapixel rear
camera.

LG on Tuesday will be launching its
flagship smartphone, the LG G4 . As per
the company's own statements and
teasers , the smartphone will feature a
5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels)
resolution IPS display with a pixel densit
of 535ppi; LG UX 4.0 with new features;
16-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8
aperture; LED flash and laser autofocus,
and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera
