After LG announced a global rollout for four mid-range smartphones, the company is now expected to unveil their next generation flagship smartphone, the LG G4. The South-Korean giant has reportedly sent out invites to the press in various countries for an event which will take place on April 28.

The official invite reads, “See the great, Feel the great”. As rumoured, the new device will sport a premium leather build. A report by GSMarena states that the unveiling for the device will truly be a ‘global affair’ and will take place in New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul.

In terms of specifications, a recent listing on GFX Benchstated that the LG G4 will sport a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display with a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.

Running Android Lollipop 5.1, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB RAM. The device is rumoured to have an internal storage at 32GB. No information has been provided whether the device will support a microSD card.

On the camera front, the G4 will have a 16MP rear camera along with a 8MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device is said to support the usual features. There is no word on battery capacity for the device either.
