LG Bello II: LG unveils L Bello successor with 5-inch display, 5MP front camera

LG has introduced its latest mid-range 3G smartphone, the LG Bello II, in the Indian smartphone market that comes with a larger display and an improved camera as compared to its predecessor L Bello.

The second-gen Bello comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core chipset combined with 1GB RAM.

LG Bello II features an improved selfie-focused 5 megapixel front snapper with flash and an 8 megapixel rear camera. It offers 8GB internal storage along with microSD support.

The Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based smartphone features a 2,540mAh removable battery and connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, and USB 2.0.

The LG Bello II will be available in White, Titan, and Gold colour options and comes in single or dual-SIM variant.

“The LG Bello II brings unprecedented value to 3G markets, which still account for a significant 40 percent of smartphone markets,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.

The phone will be sold as LG Prime II in Brazil and Chile, and as LG Max in Mexico, India and CIS. Price and availability details will be announced locally at the time of the launch.
