LG announces global roll out of X series smartphones

South Korean giantLG announced its new mid-range 'X series' of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress 2016 . The company has now revealed that it will be rolling out the X Cam and X Screen smartphones in Korea starting this week.

Talking about the specifications, the LG X Cam consists of a 5.2-inch full HD display and runs on a 1.14GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The handset packs 2,520mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and the company's 3D Bending Glass technology. LG X Cam will be available in Titan Silver, White Gold and Pink Gold colour options.

On the other hand, the LG X Screen boasts of a dual display. The smartphone has a 4.93-inch primary display and a secondary 'Always-on' screen measuring 1.76-inch, similar to the one in LG's V10. The LG X Screen is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM, has 16GB in-built storage. It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera and 8MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and houses a 2,300mAh battery. The device will be available in Black, White and Pink Gold colour options.
