A new set of leaked photos has come out in the open showing what appears to be the Lenovo Moto M. This is after Android Authority reported last month that the Moto M, bearing the model code XT1662, passed through TENAA certification in China.

The photos leaked to TechDroider show a Moto M in an aluminum body with a rear fingerprint sensor. Instead of the front-facing fingerprint sensor/home button combo that’s present on other current Moto devices, the mid-bottom section of the front panel displays the Moto logo.

According to the TENAA certification data, we know the XT1662 will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 2.2GHz MediaTek chipset, 32/64GB of internal memory and 4GB of RAM.

Based on what we’ve heard so far, the upcoming phablet more appropriately belongs to the mid-range category. So if the recently launched Moto Z and Moto Z Force are not quite attractive to you, not to mention their high-end price tag, Moto M could be your thing.

Moto M is expected to roll out only in Asia later this year along with the 4.6-inch Moto M XT1663, which explains why Lenovo was chosen to manufacture the device instead of Motorola Mobility itself.
